Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in a number of Broadway productions before she became an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. In the year 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. In 1964, she signed to CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned an impact as an accomplished director on several well-known television series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
