She is a renowned and long-running history of success in American sports. Six women have been the only ones to win the five World Cup alpine ski events. She was the winner of the World Cup 82 times. She is the best skier on the planet and the top American racer in ski racing has announced her retirement following this year's World Championship in Sweden. Her retirement came after a long list of illnesses. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. The World Championships of Downhill and SG in Re Sweden will mark my final races in Re Sweden.
