Adelaide Clemens
Born and raised in Brisbane Australia. The daughter of a British father. Clemens became an actress in Australian television when she was still in high school. She guest starred in a show called Blue Water High, as Juliet as Juliet, on the show in 2006. In 2007, she played Alison on Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens won the Graham Kennedy Award in 2008 at the Logie Awards, for playing Harper. Clemens appeared on Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film which featured Sigrid Thonton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. Also, she had small parts as a character in All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. The actress became the face of Jan Logan's jewellery in that year.Clemens moved to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens played Xandrie in the film Wasted on the Young. Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson along with Gregg Sulkin and Cary Elwes. Samantha Mathis also appeared. This film is an adaptation from the 1951 novel by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult novelist. For Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she portrayed teenager Heather Mason. The movie was inspired by the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was an sequel to the movie Silent Hill.That year, Clemens also played a lead part as a young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End an adaptation for television to The Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens performed the role of lead in the film No One Lives, a 2012 horror film that starred Luke Evans. In 2013, she made an appearance as a character in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel that has the same title. Catherine was the younger cousin of Myrtle Wilson, played by Isla Fischer. Clemens portrays Tawney in Rectify, a 2012 Sundance Channel miniseries written by Ray McKinnon. She will also star with Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
