Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the United States. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). In New York, she was born into an creative family. When she was a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. She was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising actress. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained her fame worldwide and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films MacGraw was named the most successful female film in the history of box offices. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
